Thus these pretty girls" were always dres- sed and made-up to emphasize their hair, complexion, prominent breasts (no pads here!) ultra-slim waist, lovely legs and tiny hands and feet, these latter in- variably in six-inch pencil heels, and, what was more they vied with each other to appear most attractively feminine.
